Holy Moly do NOT sleep on El Jalapeno bebe! i Stan for burria tacos & was so ecstatic to see they had them on the menu! Upon arriving it was confirmed so i ordered a drink (can't remember now of course but pretty good) & forged on!! The burria tacos were definitely comparable to my favorite contenders & the pricing was fair as well!! i arrived before the late lunch/dinner crowd so all was calm & lovely but after 4ish it got busy would definitely be back, my waitress was bomb too ill edit if i find her name
First time I tried this place in Statesboro. It is El Jalapeno. We had good service, good food. Love their chips... tasted light, not real hard chips. Salsa was good. Angie had avocado dip and it looked fresh. I had taco salad and she had chimichanga plate.
We had a small going away party one evening in May. Although a native of Statesboro, I had never been until then. The food was fantastic! Our order did take a while since it was the dinner rush, but that is understandable. It came out hot and fresh and was tasty! They even went above and beyond by bringing out a cake and presents that we brought in. Everyone had a great time! I will surely be back to try some of the other things on the menu.

Awesome place great food and big servings. I got there asked if we could eat outside cause hubby is in wheelchair by time got him and back there was table set for two. And our server Dustin was always making sure we were ok if needed anything. Love this place
I have always enjoyed visiting El Jalapeno Statesboro.. love the chips and cheese dip. Tried the brunch Mexican Shrimp and Grits Sunday and enjoyed it! All around a good time at this restaurant.. will definitely be back soon!
This was my first time there but it will definitely not be my last. The food was plentiful and our waitress Maggie took great care of us while we sat on the patio and the drinks were nice ...
Great service--and we were there between semesters when they were short staffed--and good food. The portion sizes were outstanding. I highly recommend the queso dip and the birria tacos are really good.
